What We Do
APG, Inc., a Willdan Company, provides innovative, progressive, and customized electric power solutions for EV charging, solar, AI data centers, microgrids/Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and substations. We're more than an Engineer, Procure, Construct (EPC) firm. We're an EPC+. We offer Consulting and Design at the beginning when your project is just a doodle and—after Engineering, Procuring, and Constructing—we provide Commissioning and Start-up services to make sure it gets up and running smoothly.
Our team has been involved in more than:
* 26 microgrids, including 2 with Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations,
* 890 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) plants,
* 110 MW of battery storage projects,
* 800 MW of wind plants, and
* 175 substations from 25 kV to 345 kV connecting to utilities throughout North America, including 2.3 GW of Artificial Intelligence (AI) data center substations.
APG has a proven track record of meeting contractual obligations in the electrical power industry. We have relationships throughout the U.S. and Canada with 95% of investor-owned and many municipal and cooperative utilities, all Independent System Operators (ISO), all major equipment manufacturers, and many contractors.
